Okay, so I talked to my -- I talked to my counselor and he wrote me, which was kind of helpful, the intro should be like, I come from two different worlds.

And the body, two-to-three paragraphs, how coming here changed me and my opportunities.

Mm-hmm. Right.

Dalya

And how like, when I came here, I just wanted to do everything. Applying to colleges was one of the most stressful times of my life. I broke down into tears like, twice. It was so stressful and it was a time when I just wish that I have lived here my whole life, because of the English, getting used to life here. Maybe my grades would've been better.

Mustafa

I think that's where the strength of this essay will come. Why where you come from is not only not a hindrance, but a strength in what you want to do in the future.

Dalya

If I still lived in Syria, I would've been a completely different person. If I was born and raised here, I would've been a completely different person. I -- I just want to experience more and do just great things in this world and, like, be an architect. And I want to like, study abroad for like, a year in Spain or another one in Turkey, or just study the different types of architecture and especially those ones, 'cause those ones are like, the most that interest me. Like their mosques are like beautiful and stuff and also...
