Reel to Real Screening in Ashland of ‘Ma’iingan: Brother Wolf’ at the Ma’iingan Symposium

Join us in Ashland for a free community screening and discussion of "Ma'iingan: Brother Wolf," a PBS Wisconsin documentary that captures enduring spiritual connections with Brother Wolf, the lasting bonds and responsibilities shared between native people and the wolf species, and more. The screening will take place at 7 p.m on Friday during the Ma’iingan Symposium; however, the symposium goes throughout the weekend. The event is free to attend, but registration is encouraged.

Join PBS Wisconsin and the Tweed Museum of Art for a premiere screening of 'Rabbett Before Horses,' a special one-hour PBS Wisconsin documentary presenting an in-depth portrait of the Northern Wisconsin-based artist, from his rock band days on the Fillmore stage in San Francisco, to his return to his ancestral home on the Red Cliff Reservation, through the advanced mathematical theories scrolling through his mind, to the belief among his fellow Anishinaabe that his intricate paintings come from his dreams.
