In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and in the best interest of the health and wellness of our viewers, members, partners, staff and other neighbors, PBS Wisconsin has suspended in-person events for the foreseeable future.
As an essential news and educational resource for the people of Wisconsin, we continue to provide all broadcast and online services, and will continue to explore new ways to engage with our audiences on air and online. One way in particular is through our growing collection of resources for families, caregivers, teachers and educators at pbswisconsin.org/familyresources.
In addition to our four broadcast channels that are available to watch on air and online, please take time to explore the free PBS Video app on your phone, tablet, Roku, Apple TV, other Digital TV devices and many Smart TVs to watch your favorite PBS Wisconsin programs – arts, dramas, music, documentaries, science, nature, travel, news and more – on demand!
We also invite you to watch along with us in a regular series of “Virtual Events” on the PBS Wisconsin Facebook page. These virtual screenings are being held throughout the week, and include an array of timely University Place lectures, concerts from the 30-Minute Music Hour vault, full episodes of Sewing With Nancy and the all-new Quick Fit With Cassy series. You can watch along in real time and chat with fellow viewers, or watch on your own schedule, on demand.
Two of our treasured summer and early autumn events, PBS Wisconsin’s Get Up and Go! Day and The Great Wisconsin Quilt Show have transitioned to broadcast and virtual experiences this year. We’re excited to use our creativity and take advantage of the affordances of digital technology to bring our valued audiences for these events online!
We look forward to re-connecting with you in person when we are able to safely resume our in-person events.
