WPR at Art in Bloom

WPR is partnering with UW-Milwaukee’s Classical Guitar Studio to bring live music to Milwaukee Art Museum’s "Art in Bloom." The live classical music will be on April 18 and 19 from noon to 3 p.m.

‘Welcome Poets’ at the Milwaukee Film Festival – April 19

Celebrate National Poetry Month at the cinema! PBS Wisconsin’s complete "Welcome Poets" docuseries will be screened twice at the Milwaukee Film Festival in April. The first screening is Sunday, April 19th at 4:15 p.m. at Downtown Theatre - South Cinema. General audience tickets go on sale April 8.

‘Welcome Poets’ at the Milwaukee Film Festival – April 21

Celebrate National Poetry Month at the cinema! PBS Wisconsin’s complete "Welcome Poets" docuseries will be screened twice at the Milwaukee Film Festival in April. America at 250 Educator Summit

July 2026 will mark the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. As educators and learners prepare for a new school year following this milestone, PBS Wisconsin Education and other statewide educational partners are convening a 1.5 day summit for 3rd-12th grade educators who teach civics and history.
