Zac Schultz:
Was that hard for you to put out that release?

U.S. Rep. Mark Pocan:
Very, I mean, I had no intention of doing that. I talked to the president when he came after the debate to Madison, and I privately had a conversation with him that expressed some of my concerns. But I, finally, just where things were going, I was nervous that... I was also part of that nervous group that we could lose. And it's just unfortunate that he became president so late in life. But we were seeing it affect congressional races, senate races, up and down the ticket. And it was just something that, you know, I didn't want to do, but put out the most, I think, gracious statement I could possibly, 'cause I have nothing but respect for Joe Biden. And what he did is so unusual for Washington. I mean, you know, who puts the country before their personal ambitions in Washington? Not many people, right? That's kind of like a fire-breathing unicorn, you know? It just doesn't happen. And I'm really glad he made the decision he did.
