Zac Schultz:
First off, give me a sense of what it was like to be on the stage.

Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez:
Oh, it was so exciting. I can tell you there was so much energy and electricity in that room. I'm not going to say I wasn't nervous — I was very nervous giving my speech. That's the largest crowd that I've ever, ever given a speech to. But I was so honored to be able to do that as the lieutenant governor for Wisconsin, to represent on the first night, and you could just feel the energy in the room. It was super exciting. So you do get to pick what you want to wear, which is great. But they work with you on the script, in terms of what you want to talk about. And I'm a nurse by background, and so we really leaned into that health care space and what the different visions are for the Harris-Walz campaign versus the Trump campaign. And they couldn't be more different, right? So Harris-Walz is really trying to protect reproductive rights, trying to improve health care, lower costs in Wisconsin and across the U.S. And Trump wants to do things like slash Medicare and reverse the Affordable Care Act, which so many people in Wisconsin are on today and get their health care through.
