Wisconsin Election 2026: Candidates, Races & Voting Information

Wisconsin Vote is an election season resource that provides basic information about candidates running for federal and state-level offices in the state along with links to their campaign websites and social media accounts.

The state is holding multiple elections in 2026, including the spring election on April 7, the partisan primary on Aug. 11 and the general election on Nov. 3.

The partisan primary in August will cover races for seats in Congress, the state Legislature and any contested statewide office in which there is more than one candidate from a political party. The general election in November will cover the state’s eight seats in Congress, 17 seats in the state Senate, all 99 seats in the Assembly, and the state’s five executive offices of governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, secretary of state and state treasurer.

When voting in a partisan primary, you can only vote for candidates in ONE party.
