Art Heitzer is a Milwaukee Civil Rights Lawyer and is one of Wisconsin's leading authorities on Mildred Fish-Harnack. Heitzer's hard work lead to a day of recognition for Mildred in Wisconsin public schools. The Wisconsin State Legislature approved the idea in 1986.
