This will detail how Regina's third great-grandfather, who was only about six years old, was to be passed from one generation of his owner's family to another. Tellingly, it makes no mention of the boy's mother, nor does it show any regard for his wellbeing. It makes me angry because, you know, did he know his mother? And if he did, how long? Right, and even on the same plantation you could wake up one day and your mother be sold away. -
