Ryan Churchill | Director/Actor, “The 60 Yard Line”

Ryan is originally from Beloit, Wisconsin and graduated from The University of Wisconsin Stout. He got his start as an actor and comedy writer at The Second City in Chicago. He went on to perform and study as an actor/writer with Improv Olympic, The Free Associates, The Piven Theatre Workshop, and Acting Studio Chicago in Chicago.

Since relocating to Los Angeles, he graduated from the ACME Sketch Comedy writing program and is a Main Stage Company alum. You can check out sketches he co-wrote on the co-produced YouTube Channel “Churchie Greco Comedy.” Ryan wrote, directed and starred in the short film/pilot, “Choke.Kick.Girl.” which won BEST COMEDY at the Santa Monica International Film Festival.

As an actor Ryan has appeared in many TV shows and too many national commercials to count. As a director he was mentored under the tutelage of Alex Hardcastle on network TV shows such as The Crazy Ones (CBS), New Girl (FOX), The Mindy Project (FOX), Super Fun Night (ABC) starring Rebel Wilson, Mixology (ABC), Suburgatory (ABC) and Trophy Wife (ABC).

Mostly he likes the word ‘tutelage’. When Ryan’s not auditioning or looking for film financing, he throws stuff off a bridge somewhere or picks up his two weener dog’s poop from the yard.
