A manipulative novelist who says whatever he likes is married to a timid wife who was pushed into an open marriage. Her friend is overweight, lazy and dating a perfectionist with an eating disorder. These two relationships crash and combine into the film Nothing Personal.

Michael Gorrie graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Cinema and Media Culture in 2005. A few years later, he would start production on his first feature film “Nothing Personal.” While making the film over the last few years, he received a grant from the Minnesota Arts Board, which funded a substantial part of the movie’s post production. To date, “Nothing Personal” has been officially selected to six film festivals, and has won multiple awards and accolades. Gorrie is currently working on a couple of screenplays and planning for the day when the cameras start rolling again.
