Producers/Directors Chris Rye and Corey Kealiher met during the 2007-08 campaign cycle, both being heavily involved with presidential candidate Ron Paul’s explosive grassroots driven campaign. Together they collaborated on many local grassroots projects that attempted to promote Dr. Paul and his message.

When the campaign had ended, Rye and Kealiher discussed the importance of this campaign in launching the freedom message into the mainstream consciousness, and had concluded that this barely perceptible hiccup in American politics was much too important to become nothing more then a memory for those who were involved. So they found themselves collaborating again. “For Liberty” is fashioned in a way that strives to encapsulate the highs and lows of the 2007-08 Ron Paul campaign and attempts to explore the evolution of today’s growing freedom movement. EditLab Films was set up as the company under which “For Liberty” would be released.
