"Madison" tells the story of Michael, traumatized war correspondent and University of Wisconsin alumnus who has recently returned from Baghdad. Michael struggles with the horrors of war and looks for answers and hope in his old stomping grounds.

Brent Notbohm | Writer/Director

An Associate Professor of Mass Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Superior, Brent Notbohm holds a B.F.A. in film/video from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and an M.F.A. in film from Syracuse University. Brent has directed over 20 films and videos, including the controversial mocumentary, When Boys Become Monsters (2005), the acclaimed personal documentary, Grandma Fern (2000), and the poetry short, My Life by Water: Lorine Niedecker (2003). Madison is Brent’s second feature film.
