After the damage is done After the love is dead and gone - Yeah - After the tears that I cried How could you want to dry my eyes?
How could you, how could you?
How could you, how could you?

Thank you.
I just want to say I'm just so appreciative to be here.
[ Cheers and applause ] Live music is such an important thing, you know?
[ Cheers and applause ] Especially to me.
I saw my first live band play when I was 11 years old, and it was from that moment that I decided this is what I wanted to do.
[ Cheers and applause ] And I studied hard and I worked real hard and I taught myself how to play and taught myself how to write songs, and now I get to be here with all of y'all.
[ Cheers and applause ] [ "Short and Sweet" plays ] There are Miles between us Time between us There is something between us I may be a fool To dream of you But, God, it feels so good to dream at all Something short and sweet There's always a light over my head for you I am waiting, I am waiting Time is always trying to kill me There are mountains between us There is time between us Oh, ain't there something between us?
Something short and sweet I don't care if I should Do you wanna hurt me?
'Cause I've been hurtin' all alone It didn't kill me, no, but It wasn't no fun Come and get you some Just the beginning I only want the beginning We'll give each other all of our best and then Time can do what it wants with it There are mountains between us There is time between us Oh, ain't there something between us?
Something short and sweet So why can't I wait?
Why can't I wait?
Why can't I think?
Why can't I wake without you always appearing?
Oh, I better not wait too long 'Cause time is gonna kill it Time is gonna kill it Time is gonna kill it Time is gonna kill it [ Cheers and applause ] [ "Another Day" plays ] I believe in a world where we can go outside And do who we want and see who we like And love each other through this wild ride And love each other through this wild ride We were born in a time to change the paradigm Peace is the prize of our timeline Yes, I know we can do it 'cause we must do it I know we can do it - So let's get to it - I am in love when they tell me to hide To fear my neighbor, to close my mind I am having the time of my life I am having the time of my life - When we come to it When are we gonna do that?
- When are we gonna do it?
Will you help me do it?
If we can get this...together, then what could we make?
If no power can hold it, no power can take it Free each other for the first time Are we gonna - Free each other for the first time?
- Will we come to a day after all is discovered That peace is the place that we can take each other?
I know we can do it 'cause we must do it I know we can do it - Come on, prove it - I am in love while the world is on fire Can't feed the flames, can't run and hide I am having the time of my life, yes I am having the time of my life When we come to it When are we gonna do that?
When are we gonna do it?
Will you help me do it?

-Give it up for Brittany Howa-a-a-a-a-rd!
[ Cheers and applause ] [ Cheers and applause continue ] -There's songs on this album that are very hopeful, and there's songs on this album that are very heartbroken.
Um, and I think that's life, and I think this album just reflects that, like, roller coaster, you know?
I'd say overall, you just keep trudging on.
Um, and that's why I ended the album, as I did, like, on "Every Color in Blue."
It's not, like, a happy note.
It's not like I have any wonderful advice for anybody.
It's just my experience, you know?
Each one of these songs is like a story of what I'm going through, what I'm feeling, what I'm exploring.
So I like to just put them together, and it just becomes this little, you know, glass world, and, um, I like it like that 'cause I can look back and just see my life in that way.
And I like that.
I feel like a lot of healing comes from self-awareness, and I don't necessarily think, like, in our culture and our society, that there's like a lot of importance put on that.
I think we have a very materialistic society, which I think is changing.
I really do, 'cause a lot of people now talk openly about therapy, talk openly about mental health.
Um, there's still some work to be done around that, but, um, a lot of what drives us is capitalism, and I think there's more to life.
Um, there's definitely more to life.
And self-introspection can heal a lot of things.
And I think just one of the problems our world has is just passing on pain over generations and over time, and nobody ever becomes the person to heal it 'cause it's a lot of work.
It's, like, tons of work.
Um, I'm proud of my generation and the next generation who has a lot of interest in being, um, a happy, peaceful person, you know?
When I'm on stage, you know, it's a very vulnerable thing to be on stage, and maybe I'm, like, running around the stage and I'm roaring and being loud and swinging my arms around and, um, feeling very comfortable up there -- still very vulnerable.
Still want people to be on your side.
And so, yeah, it's important to me to look out in the crowd and see there's someone who's feeling it, who feels the way I do, and then it becomes, like, a whole room of them.
And it's kind of like this, um, energy exchange.
And it's really beautiful, and it's why I keep doing it.
It's kind of like, if you were bullied in school and there's, like, that one kid that was like, "Hey, don't do that," and helped you up -- you know what I mean?
It's close to that.
It's kind of like -- it's really -- it's kind of scary to be on stage and just do your best.
And -- And it's scary to put yourself in a position of being criticized, you know?
And it's nice to look and see somebody's on your side and somebody feels the way that you do and then they're singing the words back to you and then it all makes sense again, you know?
