Ron Johnson's effort to send false elector slate on Jan. 6

U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson's chief of staff attempted to send former Vice President Mike Pence's staff a list of false Republican electors from Wisconsin on January 6, 2021, as part of a scheme to have Pence count the false elector's votes. The attempt was revealed through text messages released during the Jan. 6 congressional committee's public hearings.
