This Thanksgiving…save room for thirds!

If your Thanksgiving is at all like mine it goes a little something like this. After the feast, after the multi-table euchre tournament and after the football, inevitably someone breaks the saran-wrap seal over the leftover gravy (and all the sides that accompany gravy) and soon enough everyone in the house has had their second gut-busting meal of the day. Well this year, when you dig into the leftovers, be sure to save room for a third and fourth helping of Wisconsin Supper Clubs and Milwaukee Fish Fry.
Thanksgiving night, WPT will present a full plate of specials dedicated to eating in Wisconsin. (Dare I suggest this become a WPT Thanksgiving tradition). First up, Wisconsin Supper Clubs takes you across the state to find the best brandy old-fashioneds and prime rib – king cut, please! You’ll visit 14 supper clubs in all; from Ishnala in Lake Delton to Chippewa Falls’ High Shores and my personal favorite The Tornado Steakhouse in Madison.
Milwaukee Fish Fry focuses on the southeast part of the state, but easily resonates with anyone who’s had to choose between cod, perch and walleye. Hmm, I wonder if I could get a boat of gravy with that? Two things you can count on getting with the fish are cole slaw and fries. Enjoy these, and all the other fixins along with your turkey, and have a Happy Thanksgiving.
