Sewing With Nancy Explores the Fashions of Downton Abbey

Several costumes, including Mary’s red coat are on display in Oshkosh.

Earlier this summer, Sewing With Nancy hit the road to get an insider’s look at the new Downton Abbey costume exhibit that’s touring America.

The exhibit, Dressing Downton: Changing Fashion for Changing Times, is currently on display in Oshkosh at the Paine Art Center and Gardens, but you can get a detailed look at the exquisite costumes right here from exhibit curator Laura Fiser and host Nancy Zieman.

The exhibit will be in Oshkosh until Sept. 20. Admission is $14. WPT is hosting a bus tour to the exhibit with round trip travel from Madison to Oshkosh on Wednesday, Sept. 16.

In the first segment on Sewing With Nancy, see daywear worn by Violet, Robert and Cora as well as the red coat worn by Mary, and a coat with folk-style embroidery worn by Edith.
