Watch Wisconsin’s Nazi Resistance at 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7 on Wisconsin Public Television.

You’ve already gotten an inside look at the story of Mildred Fish-Harnack when the film’s producer Joel Waldinger wrote about the special day set aside in Wisconsin to honor the state native who fought against the Nazis and became the only American woman executed on direct orders of Adolf Hitler. Now, it is almost time to watch her story play out in the moving and dramatic hour-long documentary on Wisconsin Public Television.

Watch a preview of that program below. Then, watch an interview with the program’s narrator, Jane Kaczmarek. The actress talks about her emotional connection to Fish-Harnack and why this story is such an important one to share.
