Explore an incredible selection of captivating films about identity, society, culture, family, race and humanity with the PBS Short Film Festival 2023, happening July 10-21.

Now in its 12th year, the PBS Short Film Festival is a celebration of independent films and filmmaking. The 2023 festival features 25 “Stories in bloom,” representing narratives about growth and change. This year’s selections can be enjoyed on all PBS and station digital platforms, including pbs.org, YouTube and the free PBS App.

What Comcast channel is this on. I only have regular TV I’m 78

  Hi Julia, the PBS Short Film Fest can be watched on the free PBS App. If you have a Smart TV or iPad or any other streaming device, you can download for free and watch anytime. Pete Schwaba is a stand-up comedian, writer, director and host of "Director's Cut" on PBS Wisconsin. His writing and directing credits include “A Guy Thing” and “The Godfather of Green Bay.” Pete’s TV writing credits include “Are you Smarter than a 5th Grader?” as Jeff Foxworthy’s writer/producer and the sports comedy show “Sports Soup.” Pete is married with two children and splits time between Los Angeles and the Midwest.

I’m a project manager at PBS Wisconsin, and formerly an associate editor at WisContext. When I’m not scouring the state for fun music and arts content, I’m usually being forced to go on a hike by my demanding border collie or being forced to read on the couch by my demanding cats.
