New Nature: Penguin Post Office

I’m not sure how I got this job, but I’ve unofficially become WPT’s blogging correspondent for all things fluffy and cute (no complaints here!). After obsessing slightly over “Penguins: Spy in the Huddle,” I was sad to see my favorite flightless creatures waddle out of our weekly lineup. If you were bummed too, you won’t be sad for much longer, because…drumroll…penguins are back in our schedule!

Penguin Post Office, tonight’s all-new Nature, features a favorite tourist stop in Antarctica where adventurous souls can brave the wind and snow to send postcards from the world’s most remote post office. The penguin post office is located at Port Lockroy – about 700 miles south of Argentina – and is surrounded by a colony of 3,000 gentoo penguins! To learn more about the gentoo penguins and the post office that shares their land, check out this preview, or tune in to WPT tonight at 7 p.m.
