Curious George, television’s number one series for preschoolers, opens its seventh season on PBS Kids with a trip down under and a special appearance by animal conservationist Bindi Irwin. Curious George “Monkey Down Under” airs 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3.

In “Monkey Down Under,” George and The Man with the Yellow Hat head south for an Australian Outback Adventure. While The Man with the Yellow Hat goes sea cow sightseeing, George stays behind to investigate a set of giant footprints in the sand. Bindi teaches George about koalas, emus, kangaroos and more.

This brand-new episode kicks off a full season of animal-themed Curious George episodes. Throughout the new season, George learns about a wide range of mammals, reptiles, insects and birds. Online, parents will find special activities to help satisfy their little monkey’s curiosity about animals and so much more.
