The owls have found shelter in town and are thriving, and they've brought hope and light to the people here in the middle of winter. (speaking in a foreign language) -

It's common to find owls roosting in small groups, but Kikinda's town square now hosts more than 750 of them, in what is by far the largest long-eared owl roost in the world. And it's estimated that 40,000 long-eared owls now live in towns across Serbia. Throughout the winter, the only time they leave their urban roost is to hunt in the nearby fields.
