One frozen lake in Minnesota is a star attraction. Here, the deep freeze of the upper Mississippi is celebrated on a massive scale. (drill hums) Every January on Gull Lake, (upbeat rock music) teams of people drill over 20,000 holes through ice up to two feet thick. (upbeat rock music) The following day, over 11,000 people come here from across the country to compete in the world's largest charity ice fishing contest. It has been running for nearly three decades, and despite the cold, it's become a family tradition for many people here.
