Muslim Youth Voices

My name is Iqbal Maxamed. I grew up in Minneapolis. My film was called "Screened" In my film, I'm sitting down and just watching the news. Something negative about Islam occurs. And then I say something, and the TV talks back to me. So then me and the TV are having a conversation and I basically drag the TV around throughout my day to show the media what a normal day of a Muslim girl's life is like. And then at the end I ask the TV, "So what did you think?" The TV says, "It's all good, but at the end of the day, I'm here to make money." So it's not about what the truth is, it's about what sells.
