The Swan family has shown pigs for years. Kate's sister Natalie was the state champion. And now Kate wants her own award. So Kate, how did you get into showing pigs? My sister, I've been shadowing her, I guess, and she got me out in the barn every single day helping her, and, well, I just started liking it, and now I'm in it, so. (peaceful music) -

In addition to showing her Chester at the fair, Kate will show her Landrace pig, and her favorite, the Duroc. To get them ready for the fair, they're cleaned and shampooed. I use the strawberry soap it makes them smell good. Oh, strawberries, oh, (laughs) I like strawberries for myself. (brush scratches) -
Kate
