Which does make us question your decision to meet with the suspect in the first place.

I didn't consider the suspect to be a personal threat.

I never felt like I was in danger.

But it was the only viable opportunity we had to apprehend him safely and to elicit vital information from him relating to our investigation.

I'd like to touch now, just briefly, on this complaint that's been made against you.

Well, there's a suggestion that when considered in light of the fatal police shooting of Mr. Mochani, the nature of this complaint could point towards a pattern of behaviour regarding DI Ray's ability to make clear and objective decisions.

I don't think it was my decision, clear, objective, or otherwise, to shoot Rav Mochani.

I'm not the first person to flag these reckless methods of yours.

DCI Henderson, for example, has expressed similar concerns.
