About this show
Told by a diverse, multi-racial cast of their contemporary descendants, CHILDREN OF THE INQUISITION reveals the secrets of families forced to convert or flee during the Spanish and Portuguese Inquisitions. Searching for safe havens around the world, the new identities they took on changed our ideas of heritage and culture - and give perspective to the forced migrations so many face today.
