-Now, left-of-center country from Kacey Musgraves. - Born in a hurry, always late Haven't been early since '88 Texas is hot, I can be cold Grandma cried when I pierced my nose Good in a glass, good on green Good when you're putting your hands all over me I'm all right with a slow burn Taking my time, let the world turn I'm gonna do it my way, it'll be all right If we burn it down and it takes all night It's a slow burn Yeah In Tennessee, the sun's goin' down But in Beijing, they're heading out to work You know the bar down the street don't close for an hour We should take a walk and look at all the flowers 'Cause I'm all right with a slow burn Taking my time, let the world turn I'm gonna do it my way, it'll be all right If we burn it down and it takes all night It's a slow burn Mm, whatever feels good Old soul, waiting my turn I know a few things But I still got a lot to learn So I'm all right with a slow burn Slow burn Slow burn

The people that I respect the most, musically, um, and lyrically, have just unabashedly um... no holds barred, just been themselves, and just sung about real life and written about real life. I think about Dolly Parton, and, you know, here was a woman who had all of it -- she had sex appeal, she had brains, she had humor, she was adorable, but, um, she would grind your balls to the ground if she had to -- and she could also right a song. Loretta Lynn, I think about the, um, you know, the bravery that she had in singing about things like birth control, which seem like such a benign subject today, but actually got her banned from radio stations, which is absolutely ridiculous. And -- but she kept chuggin' on. And these people -- Willie, whoever -- they became icons that we look up to today because they created the new normal, you know? And it -- it just goes to show you that when you're not afraid to take a risk, like, it may take forever for the general public to catch on, but they eventually will, and you'll be here forever. -Next, there's Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real. - I got so damned tired of pleasin' everybody I really started reeling it in Too little love, I can't ever reach you You're just like me You're just a name in a picture frame I wanna see you get mad I wanna feel like you're crying for me Give me something real, babe Well, give me something real, baby! I'm begging you to give me something real, babe I'm begging you to give me something real, babe I'm begging you to give me something real, babe I'm begging you to give me something real, babe I got so damned tired of pleasin' everybody I really started reeling it in Too little love, I can't ever reach you You're just like me You're just a name in a picture frame I wanna see you get mad I wanna feel like you're crying for me Give me something real, babe Well, give me something real, baby! I'm begging you to give me something real, babe I'm begging you to give me something real, babe I'm begging you to give me something real, babe I'm beggin', I'm beggin' I wanna see you get mad I wanna feel like you're crying for me Give me something real, babe Well, give me something real, baby! I'm begging you to give me something real, babe I'm begging you to give me something real, babe I'm begging you to give me something real, babe I'm beggin', I'm beggin', all right! All right, all right All right, it's all right It's all right, uh-huh Uh-huh, a-woo! All right, oh, somethin' real, baby

Well I sure as hell didn't love her this much When I met her Much as I was just captured again and again She could turn her eyes away And still hold me under A river of beauty and mystery Pulling me in And then when she told me her name I knew I would die slowly I knew I was destined to live with this pain Every night For each night I stand with my father Playing our music We cry out her name and her memory Under the lights And each night I pray I'll forget about Georgia 'Cause she'll never love me Like I know a love's supposed to be Each night I pray I'll forget about Georgia But a part of me hopes that She'll never forget about me Whoa A part of me hopes that She'll never forget about me We made love for the first time In a hotel in San Francisco A night so perfect I try to forget about it now And Ray Charles is singing her name Like rain on my window I want to release her But I can't begin to know how So I say Ray Let me forget about Georgia Because she'll never love me Like I know a love's supposed to be I say Ray Let me forget about Georgia But a part of me hopes that She'll never forget about me Oh, a part of me hopes that She'll never forget about me I say Ray Let me forget about Georgia 'Cause she'll never love me Like I know a love's supposed to be I say Ray Let me forget about Georgia But a part of me hopes that She'll never forget about me Oh, a part of me hopes that She'll never forget about me Aww, a part of me hopes that She'll never forget about me That's Corey McCormick on the bass there.

Cedar trees, the morning air The way the dew sits on her hair So peacefully below a Texas sky I think I'll leave her lying there Take a walk I don't know where Just bathin' in the sunlight in my life I hear the sound of windy leaves Summer birds and gently flowing River's creeks and pools Up from the springs The music of the water On the rocks is getting louder As I walk towards Whatever life may bring Just Outside Of Austin High As I've ever been
Cheering and applause
Just Outside of Austin I think I fell in love With you again
Cheering and applause
I went out to play the other day The city and it's city ways A time and place for everything You'd say But I just wanna sit at home Ride my horse or write a song A little bit of weed and I'm okay
Cheering and applause
Those nights when it's just you and me Or maybe soon we could be three It ain't so bad a place to raise a kid Or maybe we should wait a while No need to hurry nothing I'm just saying I'd be happy if we did Just Outside Of Austin High As I've ever been Just Outside of Austin I think I fell in love With you again I think I fell in love With you Again

I'm sitting in a room I'm waiting on an answer And hoping that the lord Sees fit to let me leave 'Cause if the news ain't good And you ain't comin' back here I'm gonna stay Until my bones Have turned to leaves I'm waiting on a word Hanging on a prayer White walls like limbo They keep my feet on the ground If I lose my baby I'll tell you where they can lay me Set me down on a cloud With my soul turned inside out Well, they fixed me up good But my heart's still bleeding And there's only one thing in this world To let me heal Baby, open up your eyes Tell me you're not leaving And I'm gonna make you feel so good It won't feel real I'm waiting on a word Hanging on a prayer White walls like limbo They keep my feet on the ground If I lose my baby I'll tell you where they can lay me Set me down on a cloud With my soul turned inside out Set me down on a cloud With my soul turned inside out Set me down on a cloud With my soul turned inside out

All right! I believe that every heart is kind Some of them are just a little underused Hatred is a symptom of the times Lost in these uneducated blues I just want to love you while I can All these other thoughts have me confused And I don't need to try and understand Maybe the I'll get up and turn off the news Turn off the news and build a garden Just my neighborhood and me We might feel a bit less hardened We might feel a bit more free Turn off the news and raise the kids Give them somethin' to believe in Teach them now to be good people Give them hope that they can see Hope that they can see Turn off the news and build a garden with me
Cheering and applause
Trust builds trust All that negativity's a bust Trust builds trust Don't you wanna be happy?
