This is the founder of Coca-Cola, Asa Griggs Candler, and this is all of his brothers. And one was a bishop, one was a judge. We have lawyers. They were all very famous Georgians.

And what's the relation to you?

I am the youngest great-grandchild of the founder of Coca-Cola, Asa Griggs Candler.

APPRAISER

Now, when you say you're a grandson of Coca-Cola... What happened to the money? (laughs)

People ask that all the time, Ken. It's interesting in that he was really a philanthropist as much as a founder of Coca-Cola, and he gave it all away.

APPRAISER

He gave it all away?

GUEST

He gave it to Emory University. He was the mayor of Atlanta. He personally financed fixing the sewer system in Atlanta. He gave most of his money away.

APPRAISER

So he figured the family could get on on their own and...

GUEST

I'm afraid so.

APPRAISER

But this is a lot of fun, it's a lot of history. I'm sure it must hang over a mantelpiece or something like that.

Yes.
