Our Wisconsin Public Media Code of Ethics reflects the core principles that guide our work, and helps ensure that content from PBS Wisconsin and Wisconsin Public Radio is not influenced by outside interests, commercial pressures, political influences or the personal perspectives of its staff.

Integrity

Public broadcasters have adopted a Public Media Code of Integrity to strengthen the trust and integrity that communities expect of valued public service institutions.

News Editorial Policy

The Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) Code of Ethics prioritizes public interest over commercial, political, or personal interests. It emphasizes truth, accuracy, independence, transparency, and accountability in journalism, promoting informed decision-making and ethical practices.
