Lina Soblytė is a Videographer and Editor at PBS Wisconsin working across a variety of broadcast and digital projects. She grew up in Lithuania and after graduating from her BA degree spent ten years in the UK. Lina is a graduate of MA in Film and Television Production at the University of Bristol in South-West England which acted as an important step towards her career as videographer. Before starting at PBS Wisconsin Lina was working as freelance Photographer and Videographer, Lithuanian Interpreter and Support Worker for a youth non-profit.
At work Lina is most excited about travelling across Wisconsin and sharing people stories of many cultures and identities. She feels honored to work with so many talented and kindhearted people, and keeps learning every day.
Lina has a lot of interests, but she gets the biggest dose of happiness and inspiration when in nature. You will often find her camping, cycling, hiking and road tripping across the USA. She is also working on getting back to enjoying cold winters again and is succeeding slowly.
We provide media production professional development for educators, support student journalism, and offer PBS Media Literacy Educator Certification to help teachers as they critically consume and create media with their students.
