Melissa Perry is a Community Engagement Manager for PBS Wisconsin. She started in the role March 2024. Melissa is a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, where she studied journalism and international studies. At Medill, she developed a strong journalistic foundation that led her to positions at the Wisconsin State Journal, WBEZ and NBCUniversal. Throughout her career, she has cultivated a passion for building and maintaining authentic relationships with community members from all walks of life.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys teaching dance classes to local youth, writing and spending time with her friends. She looks forward to continuing her work at PBS Wisconsin for years to come.
