Megan Monday is the Director of Education at PBS Wisconsin, where she leads a team of multimedia producers and engagement specialists dedicated to serving Wisconsin's PreK-12th grade educators. Together, they create original classroom media and professional learning that help teachers make the most of the powerful educational resources from across the PBS system.

Her team produces locally relevant, culturally informed media for grades 3–12 across social studies, the arts, science, and ELA. They work hand-in-hand with educators, cultural advisors, and community partners to ensure resources are inclusive, relevant, and ready for real classrooms. PBS Wisconsin’s engagement specialists extend that work statewide—bringing resources directly to educators, facilitating professional learning, and building communities of practice. They also support early childhood programs and libraries by helping leverage PBS KIDS and other early learning resources.

Before becoming director, Monday served as an executive producer for PBS Wisconsin. Prior to that, she led a Wisconsin-based digital media firm, co-founded an award winning 501(c)(3) focused on documentary storytelling and community building, and prior to that, taught in both public schools and informal learning environments. Her and her team’s work have earned multiple Emmy awards, the Bobbi English Champion for Children Award from Sesame Workshop, PBS KIDS, and CPB, and the Overall Excellence in Education Award from the National Educational Telecommunications Association.
