Dulce Maria Vlisides joined PBS Wisconsin as their first ever Associate Director of Community Engagement and Impact in June 2023. Born in Mexico City and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas – Dulce has slowly adapted to Wisconsin winters and has loved exploring every corner of the state. A big believer in the power of community, her favorite part of the job is localizing our station’s work and amplifying the incredible work being done by communities all across Wisconsin. Before joining PBS Wisconsin, Dulce held roles in basketball operations, marketing and higher education.

When she’s not working, you can find Dulce watching basketball, cooking up Mexican food or hanging out at a park with her husband, baby and spoiled rescue dog, Sherlock.
