Join our partners across the pond for five nights of front-row coverage – live from London! – leading up to live coverage of the wedding of Prince Harry of Wales and American actress Meghan Markle.

Each episode of Royal Wedding Watch unpacks the history, tradition and ceremony surrounding a royal wedding, as well as insight into the union of two very different families. Featuring experts such as historian Lucy Worsley and reporter Anita Rani, the program is hosted by Meredith Vieira and the UK’s Matt Baker.

The Big Day: Saturday, May 19 

The wedding ceremony itself, held in St. George’s Chapel, Windsor, will begin at noon local time – that’s 6 a.m. in Wisconsin.

Live coverage on WPT begins at 3:15 a.m. – yes, 3:15 a.m. – so either set your DVR or lay in a goodly supply of English Breakfast tea. Coverage is expected to last until 8 a.m. CDT.

    The celebritization of Royalty by Wisconsin Public TV or Radio is disgusting, classist, racist anti-democratic indoctrination intended to produce loyalty to the 1% and all their activities as an example for the rest of us…. as if we could ever have such things. Giving people dreams of royal glory or that royalty deserves ANY attention or respect are BAD things for WPT to be delivering. May I suggest instead an appropriate program regarding royalty entitled “OFF WITH THEIR HEADS !!”
