With that tweet from University of Wisconsin Men’s Hockey Communications Director Paul Capobianco, Badger fans everywhere learned the great news that Wisconsin Hockey is back on public television this weekend, with both games against the Lake Superior State Lakers airing live on The Wisconsin Channel and streaming online here.
Join play-by-play announcer Robb Vogel and color commentator – and former Badger hockey player – Mike Cerniglia at 7 p.m. both Friday and Saturday night for all of the action on the ice as the Badgers set their sights on the inaugural Big Ten Hockey Conference Championship that will be settled in St. Paul in March.
So far this season, in non-conference play, the Badgers carry a 2-2 record into the weekend with a ranking of 13 in the nation according to the most recent USCHO poll. They swept Northern Michigan in the season’s opening home stand, but lost both games in a weekend swing on the road against Boston College and Boston University. Lake Superior State brings an undefeated 4-0 record into the Kohl Center, with sweeps of Robert Morris and Union in early season play.

Richard Heymann says:
You don’t tell us HOW we can find the “Wisconsin Channel” on TV. I’ve never heard of “The Wisconsin Channel” and suspect no one else has either. I certainly isn’t listed in the Madison newspaper.
