It’s a question humans have pondered for millennia? Where did we come from? It’s also a question that crosses scientific, cultural and religious debates. In this episode of Nova ScienceNOW, Neil deGrasse Tyson looks at the scientific perspective.

Join him on a journey to meet scientists who are working to uncover the earliest building blocks of life. Along the way, we’ll meet researchers who are using head lice to examine evolutionary patterns and we’ll explore the earliest days of our own solar system for clues to the moment that set life in motion.

I’m a project manager at PBS Wisconsin, and formerly an associate editor at WisContext. When I’m not scouring the state for fun music and arts content, I’m usually being forced to go on a hike by my demanding border collie or being forced to read on the couch by my demanding cats.

I'm a digital producer at PBS Wisconsin. I make our digital shenanigans compelling, friendly, and interactive so viewers can access great PBS programming over the air, on the web, on a boat, in a moat, in a box, with a fox. . . you catch my drift.
