WPT is your home for live performances from local and national artists! We’ve got the return of the 30-Minute Music Hour, a holiday extravaganza from Washington, D.C., and not one but two Concerts on the Square®.
John Stamos hosts an all-star musical extravaganza,
broadcast live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol,
in celebration of our country’s 242nd birthday.
Performers include The Beach Boys, Jimmy Buffett and the cast of the Broadway musical Escape to Margaritaville,
Renee Fleming, The Temptations, CeCe Winans,
Pentatonix, Joshua Bell and more – all backed by the
National Symphony Orchestra and U.S. Army Bands.

30-MINUTE MUSIC HOUR

July 7: Radio Free Honduras
Enjoy acoustic-based Latin folk-rock from an eclectic band fronted by guitarist/singer Charlie Baran.
July 14: BingBong
Formed of a strong desire to perform precision pop tunes live, BingBong features four veteran musicians who know how to lock into a groove.
July 21: Anna Wang
Electronic artist Anna Wang writes rock-synth music which showcases her powerful vocals.
July 28: Richard Wiegel
Guitar master Richard Wiegel is one of Madison’s most prolific singer/songwriters.

Miriam K. Smith, an 11-year-old cellist rapidly gaining national recognition as a concert soloist, performs in a concert including the work of Glazunov, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov. The Middleton High School Choir also performs.

Featuring Jeans ‘n Classics, a group of artists combining world-class rock musicians with symphonies, this rousing show brings the music of rock icons Journey and Queen to life.
