It’s Paczki Day!

New Orleans has Mardi Gras, Rio has Carnival. But we all know that in Wisconsin – especially in Pulaski – today is Paczki Day! To celebrate we pulled out this great 2010 In Wisconsin report from WPT reporter Andy Soth that shares the sweet secret to why customers come all day long to Smurawa’s Country Bakery to get the traditional jam-filled pastry known as Paczki and pronounced “poonchkey” on this day before Lent.
