With a monthly schedule released online and in our Airwaves member magazine, we are not used to finding Wisconsin Public Television’s name tied to blog headlines citing schedule leaks (A schedule leak indicates Wisconsin Public Television is set to air five hockey games, including Saturday’s upcoming game vs. North Dakota – SB Nation: Bucky’s Fifth Quarter), but that’s what we saw this weekend – letting us know just how excited Badger Hockey fans are to watch their team on TV.
The best news? The rumors were right! Our partners at UW Athletics confirmed this morning that The Wisconsin Channel, a digital service of Wisconsin Public Television, is the exclusive broadcast home of five UW Men’s Hockey games this season and one UW Women’s game. You can watch all of the games live on The Wisconsin Channel – available over the air in the xx.2 spot of your local WPT affiliate or on many cable outlets across Wisconsin, or streaming online at wpt.org/watch.
It all starts this weekend with the 7 p.m. Saturday matchup of the Badger’s home opening weekend against longtime rivals North Dakota. This is a game no Badger fan will want to miss. Find the full broadcast schedule with dates and times below and tune in to cheer for the Badgers on the ice!

In the past all home games were played tape delay at 10:30 CST on WHA. Do they still do this? If so can I stream the games on my CPU?
