December 23, 2011 Leave a Comment
We are now just a short wait away from the premiere of the brand new second season of Masterpiece Classic: Downton Abbey. The first episode airs at 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8 on Wisconsin Public Television. If you’re a big fan of the show, you can re-watch the entire first season online in the WPT Video Player. That is also a great opportunity for anyone who is wondering what all the excitement is about.
As the buzz has continued to build, our friends at PBS have gone above and beyond to offer exclusive interviews with cast members, behind-the-scenes access to special premiere events and engaging season previews.
I’ve collected the best of those below as a one-stop portal to Downton Abbey season two anticipation. Please share your thoughts on Downton Abbey, favorite characters and what you’d like to see in season two in the comments below.
And, as an added bonus, visit the PBS Facebook page and watch the first ten minutes of the first episode before anyone else!

I am thoroughly delighted with DA. If only there were more of these dramas to carry us off. Wonderful job PBS bringing this to us.
