La Frontera with Pati Jinich
Season 2 premieres 8 p.m. Monday, April 3
Savor the sights, sounds and flavors of the United States-Mexico borderlands alongside acclaimed chef and James Beard Award-winning host Pati Jinich as she experiences the region’s rich culture, people and cuisine. Travel with Pati to Southern California, Baja, Arizona, Sonora, New Mexico and Chihuahua as she shares meals with self-described fronterizos or borderlanders from all walks of life, and reflects on the melding of cultures.
Great Performances: Now Hear This
Season 4 premieres 3 p.m. Sunday, April 9
Join Scott Yoo, renowned violinist and conductor of the Mexico City Philharmonic, in Now Hear This, a miniseries presented by Great Performances that merges music, storytelling, travel and culture, as he chases the secret histories of some of the greatest music ever written.
My Grandparents’ War
Season 2 premieres 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 11
Returning for a second season of compelling personal stories set during some of the most dramatic moments of World War II, My Grandparents’ War takes a fascinating journey into the past to understand the extraordinary impact of global conflict on the families of four British international stars. Kit Harington (Game of Thrones), Keira Knightley (Atonement, Pride and Prejudice), Toby Jones (Captain America) and Emeli Sandé (“Next to Me,” “Our Version of Events”) each host an episode that explores their family’s unique stories.
World’s Greatest Cemeteries
Season 2 premieres 9:30 p.m. Thursday, April 20
While you might not suspect it, many cemeteries are masterpieces of landscape, culture and history. So much more than burial spaces, they are monuments to stories that tell us who we were, why we are here and what we can be. World’s Greatest Cemeteries highlights these hidden gems in a magazine-style half-hour that uses actors, forensic scientists, historians, and even horticulturists to share true stories of romance, war, espionage and intrigue.

We just became aware of “World’s Greatest Cemeteries”, Season 2 begins 23-04-20. Is there any way to learn which cemeteries were shown during Season 1, AND which will be shown on what dates in 2023? Do these include the WW2 US Military cemeteries, for example, Henri-Chapelle, Normandy, and Ardennes in Europe? Thanks! Sustainer: 38607
