Watch Through a Dog’s Eyes at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29 on Wisconsin Public Television.
Tune in for this touching documentary that tells the stories of a few select people and their service dogs. While each owner may have drastically different needs, each dog has been trained in a similar way to provide the best care possible.
Companionship is just one of the many skills service dogs are trained for almost from birth. It’s no easy task training these dogs to be their owner’s lifeline. It takes a significant amount of time with trained professionals before these dogs are ready bond with their new owners. Even after extensive training, there is still work to be done with the dogs and their owners to ensure a healthy and lasting relationship.
