Garrow’s Law

Watch Garrow’s Law at 8 p.m. Sunday, October 9 on Wisconsin Public Television.
Finally, a crime drama that doesn’t just add a new city to its name to make it sound new and different from all the other shows out there. I can’t even count how many there are anymore. Between the CSIs and the Law and Orders, they all just kind of blend together.
Once those ideas were exhausted, network after network just seemed to pick a specific part of crime to focus on. Some made a show surrounding some special type of forensic method, while others picked a particular type of crime, and still more came up with a unique crime solver.
Oddly enough, none of the networks ever thought to change the era of the show…

Hi,
I’m the Story Editor of Garrow’s Law. I thought your viewers might be interested to know that all the cases in the show are inspired by real cases and the life of William Garrow, who was a real barrister who worked in the 1780s. On my website, you can watch a short documentary about the real Garrow and how we turned his life into drama.
I hope everyone enjoys the show.
with best wishes
Mark
