My name's Otis Harris Jr. and I'm playing two characters. I play "Larry," also known as " Papa" and "Joe," who is "Prim's" older friend. I wanted to be a part of "Something About A Flower" because it just all reimnds me of my family. It's always exciting when all the characters are able to come together and you can kind of imagine the cartoon coming to life. I'm Nyajai Ellison and I will be playing "Tina." With me being a part of a minority group, it's really important to be a part of something that's spreading positive messages. It really just allows me to have the experiences that this African-American family goes through. The dry read was my favorite part because hearing everyone do their voice and get prepared for that just got me excited. My name is T. Boyd. First name's Taylor, last name's Boyd. I will be playing "Greg." I feel like we have great chemistry with the dry read through the script. I feel very confident in this project. I can't wait to see how well it does. My name is Hiwot Adilow and I play "Rose" in "Something About A Flower." My favorite part was how welcoming the rest of the cast members were. I came onto the project a little bit later than everyone else. I think the project has an important vision behind it. Being able to help in the representation of a black family, I was really honored when I was allowed to be a part of the team. Thank you grandma, but I think I ate too much. My name is Jovita Hogan and I'm playing the part of "Prim." This is a whole new world for me. Just the process of it is awesome. I've never been through anything like this, so I'm excited, very excited.
