My parents were back at our apartment lighting, like, 100 candles. They had, like, 20 balloons. Like, maybe six or seven bouquets of big roses. My whole life, I'm like, I'm never going to be those women that cry. Like, that's just so silly and ridiculous. And there I am balling. And it was this crazy thing where, like, all my relatives and family friends were all socializing at our wedding but they're just sitting at their couch at home. They're taking screen shots. Like, "Oh, I see everybody." They're texting with each other. They're like, "This is the craziest wedding ever, like what?" You know, all the henna and everything and the jewelry, everybody could see it so close up. Even the most traditional Indian people had never even seen some of that stuff close up. If you're nervous about your family being present and family messes, have a Zoom wedding. It's the best. Right.
