Frederica Freyberg: The UW American Family Children’s Hospital reports this week that two students gravely injured in the Abundant Life Christian School shooting have had their conditions upgraded. The two came into the hospital with critical injuries but are now listed in fair condition. It was December 16 when a fellow 15-year-old student shot and killed a teacher and a 14-year-old inside the school before fatally turning the gun on herself, according to police. Six others suffered gunshot wounds and were taken to the hospital. All but the two students, whose conditions are now improving, were treated and released. Madison Police tell us they are continuing their investigation and have filed warrants for shooter Natalie Rupnow’s online communications to determine if any charges should be filed.
