The Midwest MicroCar Museum houses "goofy-looking" vehicles with historic significance. Out of the wreckage of post-World War II Europe, microcars emerged as affordable options for families rebuilding normal lives after the devastation. Museum founder Ingrid Krause grew up in Germany among the diminutive vehicles, appreciating their ingenuity.
