Hiding in Plain Sight: Youth Mental Illness

(somber inspiring music) I think every girl's okay with being average. It's just that other people are not okay with it. I noticed that I was struggling in seventh grade, so I'd say 13, that's when I started to be called names on social media. It would never end when I told them, like, it hurts me, they wouldn't, they don't care. But it's not true. And like, it gets to me, and your mind is like, just dark. You don't wanna go anywhere besides your bed. I was feeling so like lost in my thoughts. I had no idea what was going on. (somber inspiring music)
