Zac Schultz: And now an update on the proposed power line between Iowa and the Madison area. The plan received criticism from the attorneys general of Illinois and Michigan. They filed a brief with Wisconsin’s’ Public Service Commission arguing that the line is costly and no longer needed. Because it’s an interstate project, residents of Illinois and Michigan would foot part of the bill for the line, roughly 30% between the two states. The Public Service Commission is expected to make their final decision early this fall.
