Know Your District: Wisconsin's 6th Cong. Dist.
Frederica Freyberg: Continuing our look at Wisconsin’s Congressional districts, we turn to the 6th. The 6th District extends from Lake Michigan, through the Fox Valley, and to Wisconsin Dells. It includes cities such as Sheboygan, Manitowoc and Oshkosh. The district is currently held by Republican Glenn Grothman. He won the seat in 2014 after longtime Congressman Tom Petri retired. The seat has been held by a Republican since the 1960s. In November, Grothman faces Democrat Dan Kohl, the nephew of former Senator Herb Kohl.
