At the state capitol assembly leadership called for the resignation of former majority leader representative Bill Kramer, although they had considered expelling him from the legislature. This after Kramer was charged with two counts of sexual assault for an alleged 2011 incident. His assembly GOP colleagues had already removed him as their majority leader last month after two more recent allegations of sexual harassment.
